Financial access should be understandable and controlled.

The public site today

This public site does not offer account linking, sign-in, uploads, forms, or financial-data entry. Clearworth does not receive bank credentials, account balances, transactions, Plaid access tokens, or credit scores here.

The hosting and security providers that deliver the page may process ordinary technical request information, such as IP address, browser details, and security cookies. Clearworth does not use that information to build a financial profile.

Information the connected service will use

With the owner's explicit permission, Clearworth will use Plaid to retrieve information from the institutions and accounts the owner selects. Depending on the account, that information may include:

• Institution, connection, and account names, types, and identifiers.
• Current and available balances and their reported timestamps.
• Transaction descriptions, amounts, dates, and categories.
• Investment holdings, securities, and investment transactions.
• Credit-card, loan, mortgage, and student-loan liability information.

Clearworth will use this information only to operate the owner's read-only dashboard, calculate per-currency estimated net worth, show changes over time, and identify stale, unavailable, or disconnected data.

Access and security boundaries

• The owner chooses which institutions and accounts to connect.
• Bank credentials are entered with the institution or Plaid, not Clearworth.
• Plaid access tokens will remain encrypted on the server and out of browser storage, URLs, analytics, and logs.
• Each connection and financial record will be restricted to its authenticated owner.
• Clearworth will not transfer money, initiate payments, place trades, or modify financial accounts.

These are requirements for the connected service still in development, not a claim that a live connected service is currently operating.

Sharing and sale

Clearworth will use Plaid and narrowly scoped hosting and security providers to operate the service. Financial information will not be sold, rented, used for advertising, or disclosed for unrelated purposes.

Credit-score information

A traditional consumer credit score is not obtained from Plaid account aggregation. If credit-score tracking is added, the score will be supplied manually by the owner or obtained through a separately disclosed and authorized provider. It will remain separate from estimated net worth.

Retention and owner control

Connected financial information will be retained only while it is needed to provide the owner's dashboard or meet a specifically disclosed legal obligation. The owner will be able to disconnect an institution and request deletion of associated raw and derived financial information. See the data-deletion page for the current state and required process.

Clearworth is a private project and does not yet operate public customer support. Plaid and security reviewers should use the verified owner contact supplied with the corresponding Plaid application.
